The Return

The World through russian eyes

The world after the Russia-Georgia war

Here is a great analysis of the whole situation in Georgia that I found at OpenDemocracy.net . The author – Rein Müllerson is professor and chair of international law at King’s College, London. He has been a member of the United Nations Human Rights Committee (1988-92), visiting centennial professor of the London School of Economics and Political Science (1992-94), and first deputy foreign minister of Estonia (1991-92).

Although I personally believe that it is not so much about the differences in political systems and more about resources that are getting more and more sparce on our planet, I generally share the same opinion as Dr Müllerson. I believe he is making a lot of sense and presenting it much better than I ever would. But you can make your own judgement.
